Where can I buy CAPE fruit?
CAPE fruit is sold in more than 60 countries on five continents. You can buy CAPE fruit in supermarkets in the UK, Europe and the USA, and in countries as far apart as Hong Kong, Canada, Saudi Arabia, and Russia.
It’s quite likely that a good supermarket near you stocks CAPE fruit. Just look out for the distinctive blue oval with the leaf. It’s recognised as a symbol of quality fruit around the world.
Is any CAPE fruit genetically modified?
No. None of our fruit is produced with genetically modified plant material. We only use fruit varieties that have been bred through traditional cross-pollination methods. Although these breeding techniques do require human intervention, the plants and fruits that result from them are 100 percent natural and non-GMO.
Where is CAPE fruit grown?
CAPE fruit is grown in 23 different countries, from South Africa to Spain, Mexico to Morocco, and the Netherlands to New Zealand. We carefully inspect and appraise our growing partners to ensure their produce and farming methods meet our high standards. So, you can be confident that any fruit that bears the CAPE label is of the highest quality and freshness.
We also have 13 of our own farms in South Africa and Namibia. All our farms have GlobalG.A.P accreditation and, where appropriate, Nurture, Leaf, and Field to Fork.
When is CAPE fruit in season?
CAPE fruit is available throughout the year. We grow our fruit in a wide variety of countries and climates, which have different growing and harvesting seasons. For example, when the grape season in South Africa is over, we are just starting to harvest our grapes in India.
Thanks to our world-class supply chain, we can find the shortest route from our vineyards and orchards to the shelves of a supermarket near you. So, you can enjoy your favourite CAPE fruit, fresh and juicy, all year round.
